Life Here is Great

Chinese word of the day-Wo hen Hao-means- I am good.

Life here is different. Best way to discribe my life is to sing the
Hakuna Matata song from Lion King. Life here is great. There are 'no worries'. We wake up, train, improve our health, become more fit, learn how to defend ourselves, and go to bed. It is a really great life. EVERYONE who is leaving is leaving for one of three reasons. Either School, Go back home for a job, or going back home because they are running out of money. I am really concidering staying here longer. Any comments on that?

The weather is getting stranger and stranger. Yesterday it was sunny, hot, beautiful. Today it was foggy, thunder, wind, and rain. There is no snow yet and hopefully no snow for a while. As much as I want to see snow, I heard training in the cold is very....very hard. I will let you know how 'life in the cold' will be soon.

Today training was easy. Mountain run tomorrow so thursdays are easy when we don't do the 'circuit training' like last week. Today was basic and afternoon class was fun. Did San Da with Gram. Gram is from New Zeland, about 27 I think. HE taught me how to punch quicker, block sooner, kick faster, real good tips. Maybe if I train with him for a few weeks my sparring will become really good and I will Spar in the arena soon.

A lot of people are arriving at the acadamy. Its shocking. I heard this place is deserted during the winter. A lot of my friends are leaving though. Rodney and Issac leave this week. Gram, Rorey, and a few others are leaving in a few weeks. I am making life long friends here. My Grandpa told me before I came here I would "No Doubt make life long friends." Well Grandpa you are correct. I now have friends from Austrailia, New Zeland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, England, Saint Martin, and many other places. Maybe before I go home I will visit some of those places and stay with some friends. Time will tell.

Tomorrow is the Mountain Run. But a few friends and I are going out tonight for Rodney's goodbye party. Train hard, Celebrate hard! So far, the guys who are going out are Rodney, Sam, Gram, Matt, Jkertle aka Gertle ( I spelt it Gertle which is wrong), and Danny. Will be an exciting night I hope. Dont worry I will fill you in.
